AEF has been a key supplier of hovercraft skirting since 1986.

 

We have provided the US Army and Navy with skirting assemblies from the LACV-30 to the LCAC.  AEF has been instrumental in assisting the Navy with design for manufacturability and maintains open communication with our end users.  Our vulcanized seaming process for thermoset rubbers is first class and has been proven through the rigorous use environment seen by our military’s hovercraft.

AEF has been a key supplier of collapsible rubber tanks since 1987.

 

AEF has supplied under an array of of US and foreign military contracts a wide range of collapsible storage tanks for static fuel and water storage.  These “tanks” have ranged in capacity from 3,000 to over 200,000 gallons and manufactured from both thermoplastic polymers like polyurethane (TPU) and thermoset rubbers like nitrile (BUNA-N) rubber.  AEF has experience in applications from the deserts of Iraq and Afghanistan to the polar artics.
