ARTIS appoint Daniel Cannon

 Daniel Cannon

Following on from the recent recruitment of Stephen Millington, ARTIS is pleased to announce another addition to our team in the role of Development Scientist.

Daniel is a recent chemistry graduate from Strathclyde University where he graduated with a BSc (hons) in chemistry. While Daniel is just starting his career in polymer science, he has already gained significant experience through a one year placement with Cytec engineering materials Ltd where he worked on a project focused on monofunctional benzoxazine materials. He was responsible for synthesis, purification and thermal characterisation of phenolic and expoxy based resins, using DSC, TGA, rheometry and NMR. He is also proficient in a range of analytical techniques including GC-MS, LC-MS, IR and UV spectroscopy.

Daniel will bring a fresh outlook and new perspectives to the existing team at Artis. His expertise in chemical synthesis and analysis will ensure he is up to speed quickly and continue the successful track record achieved by the existing team.
Daniel will relocate to the Melksham area and in his spare time enjoys playing football, cycling and playing guitar.

We hope our existing and new clients will welcome Daniel to the ARTIS team and wish him well in the commercial world.
