Appointment of new Non-Executive Director

APPOINTMENT OF NEW NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Avon Rubber p.l.c. (‘the Company’) is pleased to announce that Richard Wood has been appointed as a non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 December 2012.

Richard is the former Chief Executive and Director of Genus PLC, having stepped down with effect from 30 September 2011.

No further information is required to be disclosed pursuant to LR 9.6.13 R.
