Product description

The M53 is part of the next generation 50 series respirators. The unique patented variable resistance exhalation unit (VREU) allows the respirator to function as a conventional negative pressure respirator, a positive pressure breathing apparatus or a PAPR.

  • The M53 has been designed to be compliant with the latest US and NATO military CBRN requirements.

  • M53 is based on the M50 mask Avon Protection is supplying to the US Government for all four armed forces.

     
  • M53 has been developed to meet the specific requirements of Special Operations Units to protect against the multiple threats encountered in modern war fighting and peacekeeping operations.
