Product description
The ARAP MER is a combination supplied air respirator and a 15 minute escape self-contained breathing apparatus.

Duration is based on the NIOSH breathing rate of 40 litres per minute. The cylinder valve assembly incorporates the valve and pressure reducer into one assemble with a pressure gauge, charging adapter and pressure relief valve.

The ARAP MER was developed for the Middle East Oil and Petrochemical industry. They needed:
- A full face piece escape device rather than the loose fitting hood common to conventional escape only devices.
- Compatibility with the multi-oulet manifold long term air supplys found on oil rigs.
The ARAP MER fulfilled this requirement by combining ISI's supplied air respirator technology with a 15 minute escape self-contained breathing apparatus.
Product Features
· Combines a 15 minute duration compressed air cylinder with an airline pigtail that can be connected to a longer duration remote air supply.
· The facemask (the Air Switch) is the most low-profile, full facepiece on the market.
· Demand valve integrated into the facemask provides less time to don and a low profile packages that stores well.
